New construction, on land that suits it.

Palm City is where most of our new construction happens. Lots here run larger than they do closer to the coast, which means room for a real footprint, a proper outdoor living space and a garage that fits the way people actually live, without the compression that comes with a tighter site.

We build new homes across the gated communities, the golf and equestrian neighbourhoods and the acreage west of town, and we renovate the ones built here thirty years ago that are ready for their second life. Either way it is the same team from the first sketch to the final walkthrough.

Palm City communities we build in.

Pentalago

Waterfront, 5+ acre homesites

Pentalago is South Florida's premier watersports community, designed for families who want luxury living on the water. Each homesite spans over five acres of waterfront, giving homeowners both privacy and access to unusual recreation. Five interconnected lakes support record-capable slalom ski courses, a regulation jump ramp, and quieter afternoons of fishing, kayaking and paddleboarding, with biking, hiking and horseback riding trails on land.

Orchid Bay

156 homes on half-acre-plus lots

Orchid Bay, originally Captains Creek, is one of Palm City's most established neighbourhoods, off SW Mapp Road just south of Martin Downs Boulevard. It holds 156 one and two-story homes on generous half-acre-plus lots behind front and rear gates, with four stocked lakes, two tennis courts, a sand volleyball court, a playground and canoe and kayak launch access. A three-acre recreation area and community gazebo host neighbourhood events.

Martin Downs

Gated golf community

Martin Downs Country Club is one of Palm City's largest gated communities, anchored by two championship 18-hole golf courses and holding everything from estate homes to low-maintenance condominiums. Its position minutes from Florida's Turnpike and I-95 makes it a practical choice for commuters who still want Palm City quiet, and it contains a number of sub-communities including Crane Creek and the Racquet Club.

Crane Creek

345 homesites, one acre minimum

Set within the Martin Downs West Villages behind a 24-hour manned gate, Crane Creek offers 345 custom homesites of at least an acre each. Mature landscaping, winding creeks, nature preserves and wide green spaces surround homes that are individually designed and owner-maintained, which is what keeps the community feeling custom-built rather than developed.

Meadow Run

Equestrian, 5+ acre estates

Meadow Run, also known as Fox Grove, is a gated equestrian community of roughly 90 parcels on lots of five acres and up. Horses are welcome and the community maintains its own riding trails. Build requirements start at 3,000 sq ft for single-story homes and 3,500 sq ft for two-story designs, and homes here often include a guest house, barn or pool house alongside the main residence.

What building here really involves.

01

Gated community architectural review

Communities like Harbour Ridge and Evergreen have design review boards and guidelines. We prepare submittals that clear review the first time and protect your schedule.

02

Acreage, wells & septic

Out toward Palm City Farms, lots often rely on well water and septic systems. We handle the site engineering, clearing, and infrastructure that larger parcels require.

03

Equestrian & multi-building sites

Barns, guest houses, and outbuildings need to work together as one property. We plan the full site so everything relates, drains, and flows the way it should.

04

New construction on an untouched lot

A new build in Palm City usually starts with raw land, which means site work, utilities, drainage and access all have to be solved before anything goes vertical. We price that work up front rather than treating it as a variable.

05

New homes inside established communities

Many Palm City neighbourhoods carry architectural review and minimum size requirements. We handle those submissions as part of pre-construction so the design that gets approved is the design you signed off on.

Building in Palm City: common questions

Do you build in gated communities like Harbour Ridge and Evergreen?

Yes. We build regularly inside Palm City's gated communities and are familiar with their architectural review boards, guidelines, and submittal requirements.

Can you build on acreage in Palm City Farms?

Absolutely. We build on multi-acre and equestrian parcels, including the well, septic, site clearing, and outbuilding coordination those properties involve.

Do you take on renovations as well as new homes?

We do both. Many Palm City projects are whole-home renovations or large additions on existing homes, and those are core to what we do.

How long does it take to build a custom home in Palm City, FL?

Every project is different, but most custom homes in Palm City run 10 to 16 months from design to completion, depending on size, complexity and permitting.

Do I need to own land before starting the design process?

Not necessarily. Many of our clients come to us before they buy a lot, and we help evaluate land in Palm City and the surrounding area to make sure it suits the home they have in mind.

What is included in a custom home build with Masterpiece?

Everything from architectural design and permitting through construction and the finish out, including site prep, utilities and the interior selections. One team carries all of it under one contract.

Do you handle renovations in Palm City as well as new builds?

Yes. Alongside custom homes we take on whole-home renovations, kitchen and bath remodels, and additions throughout Palm City and Martin County.

Do you handle permitting and HOA approvals?

We do. After building in Palm City and across the Treasure Coast since 1988, we know the permitting process, the local codes and the HOA requirements in these communities, which is usually where schedules slip for people who do not.

Do you build new construction homes in Palm City?

Yes, new construction in Palm City is a large part of what we do. We build new homes on acreage west of town and inside the established gated communities, taking the project from site work and utilities through to the finish out.

Can you build a new home on a lot I already own in Palm City?

Yes, and we can also look at land before you buy it. Site conditions, drainage, utility access and any community requirements all affect what a new home on that lot will really cost, and it is far cheaper to learn that before closing than after.

Building or renovating in Palm City?

Whether it's a golf-community home or an estate on acreage, tell us about your project and we'll walk you through what's possible, clearly and with no pressure.
