On a lot at the Stuart Yacht & Country Club, the owners set out to tear down and start fresh, building a comfortable, multi-generational home made for entertaining family and friends. Sculptural gold pendants hang over a broad marble-topped island with room for the whole family to pull up a stool, framed by custom cabinetry and professional appliances. It is the heart of a home that was built to host.
A rounded dining room wrapped in windows sits beneath a sculptural gold chandelier, with the pool and the water just beyond the glass. An easy, gracious room for a long dinner with family and friends.
Pocketing glass doors open the living space to a covered lanai with an outdoor dining table and bar, all set on travertine beside the pool and spa. Beyond the screen, the setting looks down over the water, so the back of the house becomes one place to gather at sunset.
